IPL has been suspended, sources told CricBlogger on Friday. Escalating military tensions between India and Pakistan have led to significant disruptions, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) actively reviewed the situation in consultations with the Indian government.
“IPL has been suspended,” a senior BCCI functiknary told CricBlogger.
It’s also revealed that BCCI is committed to wrap up the season at some point when things normalise. The new dates and venues are being reviewer by BCCI and remaining matches will be rescheduled soon.
